Researcher
Sam is a D. Phil student at Christ Church College on the OxICFM CDT. His research interests are in materials and sustainable processes. He is currently investigating the synthesis of LDH materials from industrial waste sources and their applications as part of a circular economy.
Originally from London, he was completed his MChem at New College, conducting his Part II in the group working on LDH-based core-shell composites for post-combustion carbon capture.
Outside the lab, he enjoys reading, rock climbing and gardening.
