Research
Matthew Haynes is at Queen’s College and is a student on the OxICFM CDT. He will join the group in spring 2021 to begin a DPhil project focusing on small molecule activation towards sustainable chemical synthesis, collaborating with the McGrady group.
Originally from Sheffield, Matt completed his BA and MSci at the University of Cambridge in 2020. During his final year research project in the Wright group he investigated novel cyclodiphosphazane ligands. Away from the lab he enjoys exploring nature, travelling and sport.
