Researcher
Claire is at Balliol college and joined the group in 2021. She is currently developing hybrid, LDH-based materials for carbon dioxide conversion.
Claire studied at the University of Warwick and completed her Master's under the tutelage of Prof. Richard Walton in 2020. She later spent a year assisting Dr. Katharina Brinkert (2021) with her research into novel photoelectrocatalysts for efficient water splitting in space.
Claire is passionate about the environment and sustainable chemistry.
Outside the labs she enjoys dancing and the occasional pint at the pub; she also spends her time writing for university newspapers.
