Researcher
Alexander Evans is at Keble College and joined the group in 2021. His work involves the synthesis of functional polyolefins.
Alex completed his MChem at the University of Warwick. His Master’s were spent investigating the functionalisation and stabilisation of polymeric arsenical nanoparticles prepared by sequential reductive and radical cross-linking under Dr. P Wilson (2017-2018). Since, Alex spent three years working at Synthomer plc. specialising in emulsion polymerisation; two years in Research and Development, one in Process Technology (Europe) (2018 – 2021).
Outside of the lab, Alex enjoys playing rugby, chess, and having a pint in the pub.
