Adrian Paster

Adrian Paster graduated in Chemistry from the University of Córdoba (UCO, Spain) in 2014. In 2015 he completed his Master's Degree , working with the Grupo Puma company on the synthesis and application of photocatalytic building materials to remove the nitrogen oxides (NOx) pollution. Currently, he is in the FQM-214 Group (at UCO), finishing his PhD on new functional inorganic materials for the prevention of pollution in heritage and urban habitats. He has visited & collaborated with the O'Hare group twice - in 2019 on the synthesis and characterization of Layered Double Hydroxides for application in the photocatalytic removal of NOx gases; and again for 6 months in 2021 working on visible-light responsive LDH photocatalysts (funded by the Government of Spain, FPU fellowship). When not in the lab, he loves playing football, going out with friends and family, and visiting new restaurants.
