Dr Yiyang (Bruce) Li is a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford, UK. He joined the O’Hare Group in 2025. He received his B.Sc. degree from Fudan University in 2017 and subsequently moved to Oxford to pursue his DPhil in Inorganic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof Shik Chi Edman Tsang.
His research has focused on solar-driven photocatalytic overall water splitting for hydrogen evolution, with particular emphasis on local electric and magnetic field effects. His broader research interests include the design, synthesis, and characterisation of materials for sustainable energy applications. He is currently working on plastic upcycling, supported by funding from SCG.
