Dr Xiaopeng Huang completed his undergraduate study in materials science at Shandong University, China in 2011. In 2014, he obtained his master’s degree at Renmin’s University of China, doing a research on functional polymer microstructures under the supervision of Prof. Yapei Wang. He completed his PhD study from EPFL Switzerland in 2019, working on the controllable synthesis of low-dimensional semiconductor nanocrystals with Prof. Martin Gijs. He joined the O'Hare Group with a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) early-postdoc mobility fellowship, working on the controllable synthesis of LDH nanomaterials and their electrocatalytic applications. Xiaopeng left Oxford in 2022 for a faculty position at Beijing Normal University in Zhuhai, China.
