The O'Hare group's research interests covers a wide range of areas including novel ligand synthesis, transition metal organometallic chemistry and the synthesis of novel frustrated Lewis pair systems looking towards the activation of small molecules. We are also looking at the development of controlled synthesis of novel Layered Double Hydroxides (LDHs) and hybrid materials and their applications in catalysis and renewable feedstocks.
