Penny Hyde is at Lady Margaret Hall and joined the group in 2019, working on the applications of LDHs in a circular economy. She completed her undergraduate degree at Hertford College where she worked on the soft chemical control of layered bimetallic chalcogenide systems under the supervision of Professor Simon Clarke.

When not in the lab, she can be found on a bike, in a boat or being dragged around north Oxford by two very big fluffy dogs.
